Nope wrong leave space, just a install a baseboard for a nice finished look if you still have minor gap issues 3/4 round can be used to continue that well finished look

Yours was the only video I could find with this model of Whirlpool. This was exactly the same symptoms and the same clogged motor as my mother’s dishwasher. It was actually way more time consuming just getting the dishwasher out because of a short, hard to reach water hose and equally frustrating hard-wired power cable. But once I finally got it out your clear instructions on removing and cleaning the motor were spot on! Saved me hundreds of dollars! Thank you, Mr. Stukov!
